Trail Life is where homeschoolers thrive!
Homeschool Moms and Dads across America are discovering the power of outdoor adventure and badge-based education to unlock a passion for learning in their sons.
Boys are created for adventure.
Trail Life USA unites Homeschool Parents with a community of men intentionally guiding their sons on the journey to godly manhood! Grounded in Christian values, dads engage weekly with other men using outdoor adventure as a tool to raise up generations of godly men.
Together, let's equip the next generation of young men with the tools, values, and experiences they need to navigate the trail to true manhood.
Embark on thrilling outdoor adventures where your son can learn valuable skills, build resilience, and connect with nature like never before. From camping under the stars to mastering wilderness survival techniques, Trail Life USA provides unforgettable experiences that shape character and instill confidence.
At Trail Life, we understand the importance of instilling biblical principles and values in young hearts. Through our faith-based program, boys are encouraged to grow spiritually, develop a strong moral compass, and deepen their relationship with God.
We recognize the vital role fathers and father figures play in a boy’s journey to manhood. That’s why Trail Life USA fosters a community where dads and mentors actively engage with their sons, providing guidance, support, and encouragement every step of the way.
Our unique approach to discipleship goes beyond mere instruction. Through hands-on activities, outdoor challenges, and meaningful discussions, boys learn foundational truths that will guide them throughout their lives.
Trail Life isn’t just a club; it’s a boy’s treasure map to manhood. From the five- or six-year-old Fox to the seventeen-year-old Freedom Rangeman, boys have a clear path marked by rites of passage, and complete with awards and ceremonies that make growing up an adventure.
"My son and I got into Trail Life just a few months back. This has been amazing. Being together with men being men who are raising up young men to walk worthy- this is completely different. Christ being the center of it all makes the difference! That’s why my son, my wife, and I are super excited we’ve done this. Thanks Trail Life, you guys are awesome!"

"My son is NOT an outdoorsy or high adventure kid. We made Trail Life a homeschool requirement. It took him a year to get into it, but next month he will be our First Officer! The Adventurer badgework definitely goes along with high school subjects studied and makes them go into more depth... my son's final report for his Citizenship badge was 44 pages! He wants to be a Pastor and Trail Life has given him the opportunity to present the Sunday message on campouts. He even led an area retreat for fathers! We truly believe our son would not have the leadership, interpersonal skills, or confidence in the outdoors if it weren't for Trail Life USA."

Boys thrive on risk and competition and learn best in active learning environments. Experiences like camping, hiking, and canoeing are catalysts that ignite curiosity and inspire boys to explore Trail Badges like camping, first aid, outdoor cooking, citizenship, our flag, apologetics, family man, emergency preparedness, Bible basics, aquatics, and more.
When empowered and provided with structure and challenge; the energy and enthusiasm of boys is unlocked, relationships grow, and boys come to life! As they plan, work, serve, and experience adventure together, boys grow in character and leadership -- developing relationships with friends and mentors that will last a lifetime.
"Each of my kids had to pick one badge they want to do as an elective and then we divide it up. Some have taken as short as 3 weeks -- our longest was 9 months. They help us to explore potential career options, learn skills, and put learned items into practice."
