In the future, digital versions will be interactive through the Trail Life App, making this coming Fall 2024-Summer 2025 a "transitional year".


The process remains familiar: work through the Guides sequentially-- first, by engaging your stakeholders - Trailmen, parents, and leaders - for input. Early buy-in is key to creating a robust annual plan. Patrols add in their own more detailed plans. Then, as Troops budget for costs, transparency is of utmost importance. Next- and just as vital- is deciding on one turn-key fundraising solution that keeps burdens low for families. Once these steps are in place, utilize the Join the Trail guide's recommendations to invigorate your Troop with new members!


For further assistance, attend your Area's Annual Planning Trail Gathering in May. It's hosted by your Area Team-- either in-person or remotely. Knowledgeable and experienced volunteers will provide planning support and answer your questions. Plan diligently, seek assistance when needed, and Walk Worthy!
